When is the opening date of the apart resort?
We open on the 22nd of May 2025, just in time for you to be one of the first guests to enjoy your weekend with us.
What was the estimated time for the reconstruction?
The construction time of 14 months may seem short, but it is long enough to create something great. The Pachmair 1453 will be a project that will take top place in the reference lists of all our regional contractors.
And what if it's not finished in time?
There's no need to worry - we're well on schedule and have already worked out a bit of a lead.
What is the investment value of the project?
We are investing more than 22 million in the new building and in the core refurbishment of our main house, which naturally involves a great deal of passion.

How many companies are involved in the project?
We are very proud of the fact that we have awarded the contract almost exclusively to companies from the region. It may well get a little tight, as 72 companies are involved.
Which parts of the building will remain?
We always talk about the main building, which will remain the same. The main building includes our culinary areas such as the kitchen, our restaurant Anna's Stubn casual dining and an extensive buffet area for our breakfast with products from regional sources. There are also 8 traditional Swiss stone pine flats and 2 double rooms. In short: the culinary heart and the traditional heart are united there.
From vision to now - how long was the planning for the project?
If you want to know when the first idea came about, then I'll have to think for a moment. But it must have been 5 years ago - but it wasn't clearly defined and mature back then.
How did the idea for the Apart Resort come about?
I can tell you exactly. Johannes, Gerda and Johannes were thinking: WHAT do WE like, HOW do WE like to travel, WHAT do WE need: adventure, security, safety, relaxation and culinary delights without always being time-bound.
Does the new name or logo have a special meaning?
The NEW name is actually the OLD name. Pachmair has existed since 1453 - documented as a guesthouse. So long before the Christopher Columbus discoverd America . Our imperial coat of arms still exists and can be found to the right of the entrance portal to Anna's Stuben. This has been divided into 4 essential parts. These parts are referred to as icons that you will find repeatedly in our apart resort. The SHIELD represents security and protection, and thus the residential units and the resort itself. The KNIGHT'S HELMET stands for excellence and adventure, holiday experiences and sports activities. The SWAN represents beauty, tranquility, wellness, feeling good and resting. My favorite icon, the EAR OF GRAIN, stands for culinary delights, regional specialties, and enjoyment.
What happens to the employees? Will they come back?
Tanja, Kathi, Branca, Attila, Janos, and over 50 other hardworking hands from Pachmair are getting a chance to explore the big world of work and they have everything they need to do well there. They've promised to come back to Pachmair 1453, and some of them are already feeling homesick. We, the Geiger family, also miss our team, who are like part of our big Pachmair family.
Location, Check-In und Check-Out
Where exactly is the Zillertal and where is the village of Uderns?
The Zillertal is the widest and therefore sunniest side valley of the Inntal. Uderns is located on the valley floor in the middle of green meadows surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps and the Tux Pre-Alps, where you can enjoy unforgettable hiking and cycling experiences. In winter, Uderns is the perfect base for the 3 main ski areas of Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal, Spieljoch and Hochfügen.
Where exactly is the Pachmair 1453 apart resort?
You will find us in the town centre, in a very central and yet quiet area.
What is the best way to get to Uderns by car?
The best way to get to us from the north is via the A12 Autobahn crossing the Kufstein border, from the west via the Arlberg tunnel and from the south via the A13 Brenner autobahn. One of the most beautiful alternatives from the north is probably the journey over the Achenpass and Achensee. However, we do not recommend this route during the main holiday periods. Is travelling by train an interesting alternative?
We are easy to reach by train, as Uderns has a station on the Zillertalbahn railway. We will be happy to pick you up from there free of charge if you book in advance. The Zillertalbahn runs from Jenbach. There is a Railjet or express train station in Jenbach and almost all trains stop there. You can reach the Zillertalbahn in 2 minutes on foot and buy your ticket directly from the conductor on the train. The train ride to the valley is truly a pleasure, with great first holiday impressions. You can find more information about your journey here.
Where can I park? Do you have e-charging stations?
The parking situation at our apart resort is very relaxed, as we have underground parking spaces as well as sufficient above-ground parking spaces. E-charging stations have been a must for us since 2022, as we are also ambitious e-drivers ourselves. You can easily use the e-charging stations with your own charging card at your charging card rate. And if you don't have a charging card, all you have to do is scan the QR code on the charging station.

Can I arrive earlier or stay longer?
Your apartment/room is guaranteed to be ready for you to move in from 4.00 pm, or earlier if available. You are welcome to book an arrival breakfast in our in-house restaurant Anna's Stubn for a fee and explore the holiday region in the time until check-in. You are also welcome to use our AQUAlpin or SPAlpin areas before you check into your room.
Check out is at 10:00 am. If you like, you can store your luggage safely in our late check-out area and do a few laps in our infinity pool or chill out and enjoy a sauna in the SPAlpin (for a fee).
Is there a supermarket, bakery, doctor or pharmacy nearby?
We have a shop in the reception area where you can order fresh bread and the most important breakfast items in advance. But don't forget to try our breakfast buffet - you'll be amazed at the freshness, variety and regionality. In your holiday resort of Uderns you will find 2 large supermarkets, 2 bakeries and an excellent general practitioner with emergency doctor training (X-ray machine available in the practice). There are 3 pharmacies in the neighbouring villages.
Do I need winter tyres for the journey in winter?
In Austria, it is required to drive with winter tyres from 1st November to 15th April in winter road conditions. As we are located in the valley at 545 metres above sea level, snow chains are not important and the snow clearing vehicles usually do an excellent job.

And if something comes up? What are your cancellation conditions?
Even if your holiday is well planned, an unforeseen event can prevent you from travelling. In this case, we will be happy to assist you personally and try to find a suitable solution together. If arrival is not possible at a later date, you will find our cancellation policy in your booking confirmation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Why do you have different prices every day?
We work with flexible prices. Depending on capacity and request, the prices of our rooms may increase. In this way, we reward not only regular guests, but also all early bookers.
Are there discounts for children?
We offer top conditions for families with children. Please contact us directly so that we can advise you properly. Your new holiday home is perfectly equipped for families and the location offers plenty of possibilities.
May I have a discount? When are there good offers?
Discounts are not included in our pricing - good offers are available in various low seasons such as May, October, November or even December, January, March and April. Why not take a look at our last-minute offers, with a bit of luck you might find your holiday bargain.
Is a deposit necessary?
When booking, a credit/debit card must be provided as a guarantee. However, the card will not be charged and will only be used in the event of a cancellation that is not free of charge.
What are the payment options?
We accept cash, debit cards, Visa and Mastercard.
How can I purchase a voucher?
The easiest way is directly via our website. You will be guided through our voucher system and can download the voucher immediately. You are also welcome to contact our reception team. We can also send you a specially designed voucher by post.
What would be the disadvantages of booking through other providers?
Generally, other providers are more expensive and have less flexible payment and cancellation conditions. But if you prefer to book your holiday through another provider for personal reasons, you can be sure that we will keep our holiday promise, just as we do with our direct bookers.
I don't have a credit card. Can I still book?
Of course you can! Just send us an enquiry, contact us by WhatsApp / phone or send us an email. The deposit can also be paid by bank transfer. We will always find a solution together!

What's the story behind the different room names?
The room names helps you and us to describe the different room types precisely. Our rooms are either modern (with alpine chic furnishing style) or traditional (with traditional furnishing style with a modern touch). The orientation of the rooms in the different directions and the location on the different floors also characterise the room names.
What is better for me? Double room or apartment?
If you are travelling with more than 2 people, the apartment is the right unit for you. A double room is recommended for 1-2 people. If you plan to take care of yourself on holiday from time to time, a flat is of course the right choice. If you want to enjoy a pampering holiday anyway, a double room is the right choice.
How many people can stay in the apartment?
There are apartment for 1-6 people with different sizes, layouts and furnishing options.
Are the kitchens in the apartment fully equipped?
Our kitchens have a two-zone hob, an oven with microwave function and a dishwasher. A kettle and a Nespresso machine (first capsule refill included) ensure a successful start to the day. Crockery, cooking utensils and cleaning utensils for normal needs are available in very good quality. But if you really want to treat yourself, we recommend a visit to our in-house restaurant Anna's Stubn casual dining.
Is daily room service included in the double rooms?
You can decide for yourself whether you want daily room service or not, but it would be included in the price.
What if I would like an intermediate cleaning of the apartment?
Just let us know via our app or at reception, we will be happy to do an intermediate cleaning on any day you wish (for a fee).
Why is there a final cleaning charge for the apartment but not for the double rooms?
Daily room service is included in the price of the double rooms, but not for the apartment - therefore the final cleaning charge.
Is there baby and children's equipment?
We can provide baby cribs and highchairs free of charge on request. Let us know at the time of booking what we can prepare for you.
Are there bathrobes / slippers / towels for the wellness area in the room?
You will find cosy bathrobes in the wellness bag in your flat or room. In the interests of sustainability, we have decided not to provide bath slippers, because let's be honest: everyone has bath slippers at home. And we want to see the beautiful colourful models!
You will also find one bath towel and one sauna towel per person in the bathing bag for your visit to SPAlpin and AQUAlpin. If you need more towels, please contact our reception.
Are dogs allowed at the Pachmair apart resort?
Would you like your four-legged friend to get a taste of the mountain air? We like!
We charge a small fee for the additional cleaning effort. In return, a comfortable dog bed is available in your room on request.
Info: Well-behaved dogs are allowed in all Modern Garden double rooms and Modern Garden apartments. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the wellness areas. Unfortunately, fighting dogs are not permitted. We ask for your understanding!
What an adventure! Where can I do my laundry?
You don't need to worry about it. A washing machine and dryer are available for your personal laundry in the late check-out area. You can purchase washing pads at reception.
Wellness & SPA
What is the AQUAlpin and SPAlpin?
The AQUAlpin on the 1st floor has a 17 metre panoramic infinity pool, equipped with whirlpool loungers, massage jets and a fantastic mountain panorama. In addition, our organic herbal sauna (family sauna / textile) and the excitingly relaxed lounging and relaxation area (children welcome).
Our SPAlpin on the 5th floor is Adults Only (from 16 years) with two separate relaxation rooms, a steam bath, an organic Swiss stone pine sauna and a Finnish sauna. The ice fountain promises to cool you down and the cosy lounge with fire bowl invites you to linger and chat. Our sun terrace also offers an impressive 360° panorama of the Zillertal mountains.
Are children allowed in the wellness area?
Our AQUAlpin on the 1st floor is a great relaxation area for the whole family. In our panoramic infinity pool and the family sauna (textile) with associated indoor and outdoor lounger areas, you will find cosy corners and individual loungers where children can relax.
Access to the SPAlpin on the 5th floor is only permitted from the age of 16.
Is there a separate Adults Only area?
Access to the SPAlpin on the 5th floor is permitted from the age of 16. Children are not permitted here.
How big is your pool and what temperature does it have?
Our panoramic infinity pool is 17 metres long and 6.5 metres wide. There is also a large area with whirlpool loungers and massage jets at different heights and sensational views. The pool has a total water surface area of 132m². In winter we heat it to 32°C, on hot summer days the pool is of course operated at a correspondingly cooler temperature.
What are the opening hours of the wellness area?
The saunas and steam bath in the SPAlpin are open from 2:00 pm, the family textile sauna in the AQUAlpin from 12:00 pm.
The sunbathing and relaxation areas can be used earlier.
When it is warm outside, the pool is open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm and when it is cold outside, it is open in the mornings on request and in the afternoons from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Do you also offer massages and treatments?
You can book several different massages and treatments directly via our app or at reception.

Which catering options can I book?
You have the choice of booking your stay including Anna's daily gourmet breakfast or without any catering at all - complete flexibility guaranteed.
Fresh bread service is also available. Of course, you can also decide every day if and how you want to have breakfast. If you order directly when you book, you will receive Anna's gourmet breakfast at a special price.
What options do I have for breakfast?
Try our breakfast buffet in our in-house restaurant Anna's Stubn. You'll be amazed at the freshness, variety and regionality. If you prefer to have breakfast in your apartment, then come to our shop and convince yourself of the quality and regionality of the products on offer.
Do you have a restaurant? Where to go in the evening?
Our Anna's Stubn casual dining is open for you 5 days a week. You will be delighted by the symbiosis of tradition and modernity.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant?
The breakfast buffet is open daily (7 days a week) from 7 am to 10.30 am for both sports enthusiasts and late risers seeking peace and quiet.
Our à la carte restaurant Anna's Stubn casual dining is open from Thursday to Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday closed) from 2.00 pm to 9.30 pm.
Afterwards you can enjoy your digestive at our lounge. We spoil you with trendy drinks and tried and tested favourites.
Can I also book half board?

Fixed menus and set meal times? Not with us! Whether you're feeling peckish with a simple snack or a full meal with refined classics. In our restaurant Anna's Stubn, flexibility and individualism are our top priorities.
Can I dine in the restaurant even though I'm not staying with you?
Our restaurant is open to all culinary enthusiasts. The beauty of our house lives from the many guests and visitors.
I prefer to eat at home. Is there a take-away?
We have prepared pot dishes for you, which you are welcome to eat and finalise in your apartment.
Of course, you also have the option of ordering all our restaurant dishes to take away. You can return the restaurant crockery in the entrance of your apartment.
What is the best way to book a table in a restaurant?
You can easily make a table reservation via our hotel app, our website, by phone or at reception.

What are the opening hours of the hotel bar?
You can enjoy coffee, tea and drink specialities in our lounge during the day. In the evening, our bartender is there for you until 11.00 pm, sometimes even longer...
