What is the AQUAlpin and SPAlpin?

<p>The <strong>AQUAlpin</strong> on the 1st floor has a <strong>17 metre panoramic infinity pool</strong>, equipped with whirlpool loungers, massage jets and a fantastic mountain panorama. In addition, our organic herbal sauna (family sauna / textile) and the excitingly relaxed lounging and relaxation area (children welcome).</p> <p><br />Our <strong>SPAlpin</strong> on the 5th floor is <strong>Adults Only</strong> (from 16 years) with two separate relaxation rooms, a steam bath, an organic Swiss stone pine sauna and a Finnish sauna. The ice fountain promises to cool you down and the cosy lounge with fire bowl invites you to linger and chat. Our sun terrace also offers an impressive 360° panorama of the Zillertal mountains.</p>

<p>Our <strong>AQUAlpin</strong> on the 1st floor is a great relaxation area for the <strong>whole family</strong>. In our panoramic infinity pool and the family sauna (textile) with associated indoor and outdoor lounger areas, you will find cosy corners and individual loungers where children can relax.</p> <p>Access to the SPAlpin on the 5th floor is only permitted from the age of 16.</p>

How big is your pool and what temperature does it have?

How big is your pool and what temperature does it have?

<p>Our <strong>panoramic infinity pool</strong> is <strong>17 metres</strong> <strong>long</strong> and <strong>6.5 metres</strong> <strong>wide</strong>. There is also a large area with whirlpool loungers and massage jets at different heights and sensational views. The pool has a total water surface area of 132m². In <strong>spring, autumn and winter</strong> we heat it to <strong>32°C</strong>, on hot summer days the pool is of course operated at a correspondingly <strong>cooler temperature</strong>.</p>
Do you also offer sauna infusions?

Do you also offer sauna infusions?

<p>Twice a week (usually Wednesday and Saturday), we offer a mild sauna infusion with two rounds at <strong>5 pm</strong> and an intense infusion with three rounds at <strong>6 pm</strong>.</p>
What are the opening hours of the wellness area?

What are the opening hours of the wellness area?

<p>The saunas and steam bath in the SPAlpin are open from <strong>2:00 pm</strong>, the <strong>family textile sauna</strong> in the AQUAlpin from <strong>12:00 pm</strong>.</p> <p>The sunbathing and relaxation areas can be used earlier.</p> <p>The pool is open from <strong>7 am to 8 pm</strong> when the outside temperature is warm, and from 7:30 am to 9 am in the morning and 2 pm to 8 pm in the afternoon when the outside temperature is cold. We are also happy to open outside these hours on request.</p>
Can I still use the wellness area before or after check-in or check-out?

<p>You are welcome to use our wellness area before or after check-in or check-out for a small fee of <strong>€25 per person each</strong>.</p>

What's the story behind the different room names?

<p>The room names helps you and us to describe the different room types precisely. Our rooms are either <strong>"Modern" in the new building</strong> (with alpine chic furnishing style) or <strong>"Traditional" in the historic building</strong> (with traditional furnishing style with a modern touch). The orientation of the rooms in the different directions and the location on the different floors also characterise the room names.</p>

What is better for me? Double room or apartment?

<p>If you are travelling with <strong>more than 2 people</strong>, the apartment is the right unit for you. A double room is recommended for 1-2 people. If you plan to take care of yourself on holiday from time to time, a flat is of course the right choice. If you want to enjoy a pampering holiday anyway, a double room is the right choice.</p>

A <strong>kettle</strong> and a <strong>Nespresso</strong> <strong>machine</strong> (first capsule refill included) ensure a successful start to the day. Crockery, cooking utensils and cleaning utensils for normal needs are available in very good quality. But if you really want to treat yourself, we recommend a visit to our in-house restaurant Anna's Stubn casual dining.</p>

<p>A daily ROOM CHECK is included in the room rate. This service covers bed making, replenishing bathroom amenities, towel change (only if towels are placed on the floor), and emptying the bins. If you do not wish to receive the ROOM CHECK, simply hang the red sign on the outside of your door handle. In addition, one full room cleaning is included for every 4 nights booked. If you would like any extra full cleanings, you can easily book them via our app or at the reception.</p>

In return, a comfortable <strong>dog bed</strong> is available in your room on request.</p> <p><strong>Please note:</strong> Well-behaved dogs are allowed in all Modern Garden double rooms and Modern Garden apartments. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the wellness areas. Unfortunately, fighting dogs are not permitted. We ask for your understanding!</p>

<p>You don't need to worry about it. A <strong>washing machine</strong> and <strong>dryer</strong> are available for your personal laundry in the l<strong>ate check-out area</strong>. You can purchase washing pads at reception.</p>
Do the rooms have air-conditioning?

Do the rooms have air-conditioning?

<p>Basically no. However, rooms in the “Modern” category (new building) have pre-conditioned air from our groundwater heat pump.</p> <p>In other words, the air that is blown into the room is pre-cooled with groundwater and then blown in with a difference of up to -7°C to the outside temperature. In other words, if the outside temperature is 30°C in midsummer, it is blown into the room at up to 23°C.</p> <p>The rooms in the ‘Traditional’ category do not have this system due to the local building regulations for our traditional house dating back to 1453.</p>

<p>The NEW name is actually the OLD name. Pachmair has existed since 1453 - documented as a guesthouse. So long before the Christopher Columbus discoverd America. Our imperial coat of arms still exists and can be found to the right of the entrance portal to Anna's Stubn. This has been divided into 4 essential parts. These parts are referred to as icons that you will find repeatedly in our apart resort.</p> <p>The <strong>SHIELD</strong> represents <strong>security</strong> and <strong>protection</strong>, and thus the residential units and the resort itself.</p> <p>The <strong>KNIGHT'S HELMET</strong> stands for <strong>excellence</strong> and <strong>adventure</strong>, holiday <strong>experiences</strong> and sports activities.</p> <p>The <strong>SWAN</strong> represents <strong>beauty</strong>, tranquility, <strong>wellness</strong>, feeling good and resting.</p> <p>My favorite icon, the <strong>EAR OF GRAIN</strong>, stands for <strong>culinary</strong> <strong>delights</strong>, regional specialties, and enjoyment.</p>

Where exactly is the Zillertal and where is the village of Uderns?

<p>The Zillertal is the <strong>widest</strong> and therefore <strong>sunniest</strong> <strong>side</strong> <strong>valley</strong> of the Inntal. Uderns is located on the valley floor in the middle of green meadows surrounded by the <strong>Kitzbühel Alps</strong> and the <strong>Tux Pre-Alps</strong>, where you can enjoy unforgettable <strong>hiking</strong> and <strong>cycling</strong> experiences. In winter, Uderns is the perfect base for the 3 main ski areas of Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal, Spieljoch and Hochfügen.</p> <p></p>

What is the best way to get to Uderns by car?

What is the best way to get to Uderns by car?

<p>The best way to get to us from the north is via the <strong>A12 Autobahn</strong> crossing the Kufstein border, from the west via the Arlberg tunnel and from the south via the <strong>A13 Brenner autobahn</strong>. One of the most beautiful alternatives from the north is probably the journey over the <strong>Achenpass</strong> and <strong>Achensee</strong>. However, we do not recommend this route during the main holiday periods. You can find more information about your journey here.</p>

Is travelling by train an interesting alternative?

<p>We are easy to reach by train, as Uderns has a station on the <strong>Zillertalbahn</strong> <strong>railway</strong>. We will be happy to pick you up from there free of charge if you book in advance. The Zillertalbahn runs from Jenbach. There is a Railjet or express train station in Jenbach and almost all trains stop there. You can reach the Zillertalbahn in 2 minutes on foot and buy your ticket directly from the conductor on the train. The train ride to the valley is truly a pleasure, with great first holiday impressions. You can find more information about your journey here.</p>

Where can I park? Do you have e-charging stations?

<p>The parking situation at our apart resort is very relaxed, as we have <strong>underground</strong> <strong>parking</strong> <strong>spaces</strong> as well as sufficient <strong>above-ground parking spaces</strong>. <strong>E-charging stations</strong> have been a <strong>must</strong> for us since 2022, as we are also ambitious e-drivers ourselves. You can easily use the e-charging stations with your own charging card at your charging card rate. And if you don't have a charging card, all you have to do is scan the QR code on the charging station.</p>

You are welcome to book an arrival breakfast in our in-house restaurant <strong>Anna's Stubn</strong> for a fee and explore the holiday region in the time until check-in.</p> <p>Check out is at <strong>10:00 am</strong>. If you like, you can store your luggage safely in our late check-out area and do a few laps in our infinity pool or chill out and enjoy a sauna in the SPAlpin (for a fee).</p>

<p>We have a <strong>shop</strong> in the <strong>reception</strong> <strong>area</strong> where you can order fresh bread and the most important breakfast items in advance. But don't forget to try our <strong>breakfast buffet</strong> - you'll be amazed at the freshness, variety and regionality. Do I need winter tyres for the journey in winter?

<p>In Austria, it is required to drive with <strong>winter</strong> <strong>tyres</strong> from <strong>1st November to 15th April</strong> in winter road conditions. As we are located in the valley at 545 metres above sea level, snow chains are not important and the snow clearing vehicles usually do an excellent job.</p>
