Adventure Mountain Spieljoch
The Adventure Mountain Spieljoch offers fun and entertainment during an excursion with children.
The summit barefoot path proceeds up to 1920 metres altitude, opening up a breath-taking view. The Bambini water park tempts little ones to splash about, while the 'Monsterroller', the tubing track and Nepal bridge send adrenaline levels soaring.
Adventure Park – High Ropes
For a family trip, Zillertal-Kaltenbach Adventure Park is the biggest, most challenging and most spectacular nature adventure park for all ages. There are seven different courses for all ages. The 'Mäuseparcours' is even suitable for children from the age of three.
The various courses are at heights ranging from two to 35 metres, and with the aid of Flying Foxes in differing lengths, you soar from tree to tree - even 180 metres above a gorge -while enjoying activities with children.
Kabooom - Leisure Centre
Kabooom leisure centre in Kaltenbach is THE meeting point for fun and action. During a family excursion, visitors can look forward to numerous types of exciting action sports Indoors and outdoors, and also to spending some time in the bistro with its spacious terrace and bar.

Murmelland
Murmelland on Zillertal's Alpine Road offers unique experiences in nature, at 1800 metres altitude. The Marmot Park with adventure playground has been set up at Kaltenbach Skihütte.

Fichtenschloss & Fichtensee
Be a lord of the castle or a damsel for a while – at the Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller that is so easy at Fichtenschloss with its four towers soaring up into the sky. In the surrounding area there is an extensive adventure play area with a treetop path and a water play section. All ages will enjoy the slide tower, the crane tower, the climbing tower and the 18-metre-high viewing tower.
On hot summer days Fichtensee tempts you to enjoy a dip, and with its rafts, floating Island, boat hire, pleasure nooks and shallow water area, It provides fun in the water at Its finest. An Alpine circuit suitable for buggies links Fichtenschloss with Fichtensee and the mountain station for the Rosenalmbahn.
Arena Coaster
It isn't just kids that Arena Coaster inspires - fun, action and speed are waiting for you at this Alpine rollercoaster In Zillertal.
1450 metres of coaster fun start right at the valley station for the Rosenalmbahn in Zell am Ziller and with its many waves, steep bends and jumps, It provides a year-round attraction for all ages.
A 360° gyro and a 540° gyro provide additional adrenaline during a summer holiday in Zillertal.
Genießerberg Ahorn
The water oases of Ahornsee and Ahornbachl on the Ahorn in Mayrhofen invite you to play, splash around and stay for a while during a family trip, providing perfect refreshment on hot summer days.
Head up the mountain on the Ahornbahn, Austria's biggest aerial tramway. Once you get to the top, the 'Genießer' circuit, which is suitable for prams, awaits guests of all ages, along with the four viewing platforms: Adlerblick, Zillertal, Stilluptal and Filzenalm and the highest raptor demonstration In Europe in Adler-Bühne Ahorn.
New for summer in the mountains 2024 is the Albert Adler adventure path.
FunSportStation Penken
Surrounded by an inspiring mountain realm, the FunSportStation on the Penken is ideal for adventures with children. Explore the mountain on wheels on the Mountain Scooter Tour, while the motor skills course provides a great deal of cheer for all ages – there are twelve stations to tackle, requiring a great deal of skill and balance.
Another highlight is the E-Trial course, where you will soon see who has skills, coordination and steady nerves!
An idyllic mountain playground with swings, a climbing tower, slides and a water play area complete the range of offers available at FunSportStation Penken, ensuring even little guests enjoy so much fun and are entertained.
Luis' Glacier Safari Park
At 3250 metres, the Glacier Safari Park is the highest playground in Europe. Glacier flea Luis inspires, with fantastic attractions Including the snow tyre carousel, tubing run, giant gondola, baby lift and the snow flea photo point.
The Safari Park summer mountain at 2100 metres is another attractive play area for a family excursion. Secure play stations await here, including a climbing wall, play castle, giant slide and the exceptionally popular pedal go-kart track.
Little glacier fans enjoy plenty of space to run about and have fun here, while parents can keep an eye on their children from the spacious sun terrace while they relax.
Both Flea Parks are also accessible for prams. In summer the two Flea Parks are available for lively glacier visitors from July through to September.
Almspielerei Eggalm
The Eggalmbahn takes you in comfort to one of the highlights for a family excursion in Hinteren Zillertal. The Almspielerei invites even the smallest hiking fans to marvel and explore.
Around the mountain station for the Eggalmbahn at 1950 metres altitude a wide range of play stations are there waiting to be put to the test. A large water pond can be explored in a tugboat, on a play raft or while enjoying Kneipp. Particularly courageous adventurers can also venture over to the other riverbank on a slackline spanning around nine metres.
So many other attractions featuring water and Alpine animals made out of wood promise a huge amount of fun, providing all the family more of an idea of what this natural Alpine space and its special elements are all about.
Winter adventures
Artificial ice rink & Airparc Kabooom
Kabooom leisure centre in Kaltenbach is THE meeting point in terms of fun and action and is ideal for adventures with children. After hours practicing your swings on the ski piste, the best thing to do is unpack your ice skates. On an area of ice spanning 580 square metres, gentle gliding is a joy.
Visitors of all ages get to let off steam during a family excursion in Kabooom with the many fun and action sports available both indoors and outdoors. The big highlight at the leisure centre is Tyrol's biggest Airparc.
Gerlosstein toboggan run
A traditional tobogganing session is part and parcel of a winter holiday in Tyrol's Zillertal region too, complete with a refreshment stop in an Alpine lodge! The Gerlossteinbahn above Zell am Ziller takes you speedily and comfortably to the start of the seven-kilometre toboggan route at 1650 metres altitude. The toboggan run is even floodlit in the evening until 01.00.
The Gerlosstein experience mountain doesn't just Invite you to enjoy tobogganing. In winter on the 'Almpromenade' themed path you will also find lots of interesting information about Zillertal's history and culture at wonderfully designed stations. Perfect for getting out and about with children.
Arena Coaster
The Alpine rollercoaster Arena Coaster doesn't just inspire children! Fun, action and speed awaits everyone during a family excursion right at the valley station for the Rosenalmbahn in Zell am Ziller. The 1450 metre fun roller coaster features numerous waves, steep bends and jumps, providing a year-round attraction for all ages.

Albert Adler Tour on the Ahorn
The little mascot Albert Adler invites all ages to enjoy a fun trip, with easy, fun obstacles on the Ahorn.
During your family excursion the Albert Adler speed camera takes a photo of your nimble descent, and this can be downloaded at the lift valley station afterwards free of charge.

Nature's Ice Palace
Nature's Ice Palace on the Hintertux Glacier is a natural gem - it is the only one of its kind in the world and an ideal excursion destination for a family trip. Marvel at the magical ice stalactites, giant sparkling ice crystals, frozen waterfalls and even a glacier lake as part of the activities you enjoy with your children.

Capella Granata on the Penkenjoch
Capella Granata on the Penkenjoch is an equally rewarding excursion.
This leisurely winter hike begins at the mountain station for the Finkenberg Almbahn. It proceeds along the Penkenjoch reservoir, passing the impressive Capella Granata, the Garnet Chapel, up to the mountain station for 'Kombibahn Penken', and back again.
