Tobogganing on the Spieljoch

A wonderful route for tobogganing in Zillertal is waiting for you on the Spieljoch. The 5.5 kilometre toboggan run starts at the mountain station, ending at the intermediate station for the Spieljochbahn.


The 10-seater gondola takes you directly from the town area into Fügen at 1858 metres and with that, right into the middle of fun tobogganing in Zillertal.

Gerlosstein toboggan run

The Gerlosstein run is the longest floodlit toboggan run in Zillertal. The seven-kilometre toboggan run on the Hainzenberg provides lengthy tobogganing fun and is particularly suitable for families. The ascent of some 700 metres altitude, can be done either on foot (taking two hours) or via the Gerlossteinbahn.


There are several eateries on the mountain, among them Berghotel Gerlosstein and the Schlittenstadl, which cater for hungry tobogganists. Tobogganing sessions take place every day.


The toboggan run is open from Monday to Saturday for night-time tobogganing and is floodlit until 01:00.

Night-time tobogganing in Zillertal
