Skiing in the Zillertal

Fun on skis as far as the eye can see

A total of 535 kilometers of pistes and 180 ultramodern lifts which quickly and comfortably take you from 580 meters up to 3,250 meters above sea level await you at four ski areas: Hochzillertal/Hochfügen/Spieljoch; Zillertal Arena; Mountopolis - Mayrhofner Bergbahnen; and  Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000. There’s a challenge for every taste and skill level, from steep downhill slopes and untouched powder runs to sunny carving slopes for families, beginners, and enthusiasts. There’s even more: Our guests can also enjoy snowboard fun parks, racing and speed courses with permanent time keeping, and numerous cozy ski huts and magnificently situated mountain restaurants with sun terraces.

Our four-star Hotel Pachmair is centrally located between the Hochzillertal (Kaltenbach), Hochfügen, and Spieljoch (Fügen) Ski Resorts. Tip: All of the ski resorts in the Zillertal can easily be reached from our hotel because of our ideal location. The ski buses to the Hochzillertal (Kaltenbach), Hochfügen, and Spieljoch Ski Resorts stop directly in front of our hotel. Timetables are on display at the reception desk.

VIP Early Bird Ski Shuttle
Our hotel’s own ski shuttle takes you to the Hochzillertal in Kaltenbach ski lifts daily at 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (lifts begin running at 7:30 a.m.). Enjoy an incredible sunrise on the mountain for an unforgettable experience!

“The best connection”: Hochzillertal/Hochfügen
The connected ski resorts of Hochzillertal and Hochfügen provide fun on skis from 1,500 to 2,500 meters above sea level, snow until May, state-of-the-art lifts, and athletic challenges for all skill levels. Plenty of mountain restaurants will also ensure you won’t go hungry or thirsty.

Spieljoch
The small but beautiful Spieljoch Ski Resort is very popular for its family atmosphere. With 8 lifts, two magic carpets, and a beginner’s lift, there’s enough variety to keep guests busy without overloading their senses. Even the best of skiers will be excited about the fantastic slopes and the Valley Run that goes all the way down to Fügen.
