Whether it’s conquering a summit with the entire family, doing a high ropes course, going for a fast ride on a Monster Scooter, or even having a snowball fight in summer, you will never get bored in the Zillertal!

Spieljoch Family Mountain Experience

Enjoy breathtaking views at the Summit Barefoot Hiking Trail at 1,920 meters above sea level, splash around at the Bambini Water Park, or get your adrenaline pumping on the Monster Scooter or the Nepal Bridge

Zillertal Nature Adventure Park / High Ropes Course

The Zillertal-Kaltenbach Adventure Park is the largest, most challenging, and most spectacular Nature Adventure Park for young and old alike. There are 7 different courses for all ages. The Mouse Course, for example, is suitable for children age 3 and up. The different courses range from 2 to 35 meters high, and with the help of our Flying Fox in various lengths you can fly from tree to tree or even 180 meters across a canyon.

Kabooom Leisure Centre

The Kabooom Leisure Centre in Kaltenbach is THE place to be for fun and action. Visitors can look forward to countless fun & action sports indoors or outdoors as well as a cozy bistro with a large terrace and a bar. One of the big highlights at the Leisure Centre is Tyrol’s biggest Airparc.

Marmot Land 

The Marmot Land at the Zillertal High Mountain Road offers unique nature experiences at 1,800 meters above sea level. A marmot park with adventure playground can be found around the Kaltenbach Ski Lodge. You’ll absolutely love the wonderful animals and your children will have plenty of fantastic opportunities to play!

Fichtenschloss & Fichtensee

With its four towers piercing the sky, the Fichtenschloss (Spruce Castle) at Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller is a treehouse castle fit for kings and queens. There’s a big adventure playground with a canopy walkway and water play area right next to the castle. Guests of all ages will be amazed by the Slide Tower, the Crane Tower, the Climbing Tower, and the 18-meter-high Lookout Tower. Furthermore, on hot summer days, there’s nothing better than a dip in the Fichtensee, where you can find floating jetties, a floating island, boat rentals, leisure loungers, and a shallow water zone. There is also a walking trail suitable for buggies connecting the Fichtenschloss with the Fichtensee and the Rosenalmbahn Mountain Station.

Arena Coaster

The Arena Coaster is not just for kids. The Alpine Rollercoaster in the Zillertal is all about fun, action, and high speed. The 1,450-meter-long rollercoaster fun starts right at the Rosenalmbahn Valley Station in Zell am Ziller. With all of its waves, steep turns, and jumps, as well as a 360-degree and a 540-degree loop that will really get your adrenaline pumping during your summer vacation in the Zillertal, this coaster is the year-round highlight for the young as well as the young at heart.

Lake Ahornsee & Ahornbachl Stream & Eagle's Stage Ahorn

The Lake Ahornsee and Ahornbachl Stream water oases on Mount Ahorn in Mayrhofen are perfect for playing, splashing, relaxing, and cooling down on hot summer days. The Ahornbahn, Austria’s largest reversible ropeway, takes you up the mountain, where you’ll find the baby buggy-friendly Leisure Trail with its four Viewing Platforms: Adlerblick, Zillertal, Stilluptal, and Filzenalm. Another highlight is Europe’s highest altitude Birds of Prey Show at the Eagle’s Stage Ahorn, which is a holiday paradise for young and old alike. 

FunSportStation Penken

The FunSportStation on Mount Penken is surrounded by impressive mountain scenery and offers sporting activities that you don’t get to participate in any old day. For example, the Mountain Scooter Tours are a great way to explore the mountain and our Motor Skills Parcours with 12 stations is great fun for people of all ages, allowing them to put their agility and balance to the test. There’s also the ETrial Parcours, which is yet another highlight, as it soon makes it clear who possesses agility, coordination skills, and steady nerves. Finally, the idyllic Mountain Playground, with its swings, climbing tower, slides, and water elements, is a great place even for your little ones and guarantees more fun and entertainment.

Luis' Gletscherflohpark

The Gletscherflohpark at 3,250 meters above sea level is Europe’s highest altitude playground. There's a lot going on in this fun-filled adventure world nestled in the eternal ice. It’s where families and children can get together with Luis the mascot to try out the attractions such as the snow tire carousel, tubing run, giant gondola, baby lift, and photo station. And how about a snowball fight in the middle of summer? The Flohpark Sommerberg at 2,100 meters above sea level is another great playground for families with children. That’s where you’ll find fun and well secured stationssuch as a climbing wall, a bouncy castle, a giant slide, and everyone’s favorite, the pedaling go-cart track. Little glacier fans have plenty of room to play around while parents can keep an eye on their children from the comfortable and spacious sun terrace. Both Flohparks can be reached even with baby buggies in tow, and, in the summer, await playful glacier visitors from July to September.

Almspielerei Eggalm

The Eggalmbahn takes you comfortably to one of the highlights for families in the upper Zillertal. The Almspielerei will amaze and excite even the smallest hikers. A big variety of play stations awaits all around the Eggalmbahn Mountain Station at 1,950 meters above sea level. There’s a big lake that can be explored by boat, float or Kneipp path. For the bravest of the brave, there’s an almost 9-meter-long slackline spanning from one side of the lake to the other. Many more water attractions as well as Alps animals that are made of wood guarantee tons of fun while also giving our guests an understanding of the alp and its unique natural environment.
